At Baldur’s Gate, Vahn, Adrianna, and Kromlech were attacked by a group of bandits. They took away all the goods, leaving the trio with nothing left, but fortunately, no one was injured. Soon after, they went to a pub in town to work and earn money. Manager Alyth Elendara gave them the cleaning job under the storage. And also here, an intrusion from the thieves was discovered. They have been trying to invade the city to do something shady. Adrianna followed in the footsteps of the bad guys who had met the abducted priest Illmater. He revealed about the mysterious organization’s plan to free the monsters from the “Orb of the Undead.” But until now, the leader has never been published, and perhaps the crux of the problem will be solved if it is possible to find and defeat him.

The whole story of the game spans three lands with 28 different locations. You will choose for yourself a warrior to start the journey full of dangers. There are three basic classes, corresponding to the characters: Vahn – archer, Kromlech – warrior/knight, and Adrianna – a witch. They can all be selected to role-play from the beginning. And then there’s Drizzt Do’Urden – a fourth-class Ranger that can be unlocked with bonuses. Of course, each of them has a unique ability to exploit in the fight. Warriors bring disadvantages to enemies by short-range attacks. However, he is really weak if he is damaged from a long-range, and has no speed advantage. Meanwhile, archers and witches are just the opposite.

Regarding gameplay, you can think of The Lord of The Rings. The enemies will not stop charging in revenge if their teammates are attacked. However, there are two major differences that you can clearly see. First, the monsters are smarter and know how to put the heroes in a predicament. Secondly, the core point that the developer brings is not focused on the story as TLoTR anymore, but the action-role-playing element. Proof? That’s the design of the character system, including the full level, stat, equipment, skills, and upgrade features for each of the listed. Each time completing a mission or winning a match, you will receive an amount of experience, bonuses, and some spoils. In addition, interactive elements also contribute to the success of the game, although a relatively small portion.
