Bruce Wayne is an orphan. From an early age, his parents were killed by criminals, making his hatred for evil gradually grow. As a teenager, Henri Ducard met and wanted him to be a member of the League of Shadows led by Ra’s al Ghul. After completing the training, and being assigned the first task, Bruce realized the ultimate goal of the organization is to destroy Gotham City to prevent criminals as he should kill Ra’s al Ghul to avoid the dangers that would happen in the future. But he didn’t expect that the person he killed was just a fake replacement, and the real threat for Gotham still exists. During the most challenging times, Lucius Fox appeared and introduced Bruce with the most advanced technology, including the Batman armor, to serve the mission against criminals.
BAT-MAN BEGINS built the storyline almost alike to the script of the film. Each battle scene, the system plays a short clip to summarize the scene that is happening, and then, the player will go deeper into the fight scenes to fight the criminals operating in the city. In it, there are quite a few familiar scenes, once taking place in the movie such as Batman destroyed the train tracks with Batmobile to stop Ra’s al Ghul when he tried to reach the Wane tower to blow up the whole city with his equipment – Microwave Emitter.
In terms of combat mechanics, Batman can create fights with actions like punching, kicking, or combining them to create combos with more considerable damage. With the support of the suit, the power is greatly increased, and he can even cling to ledges and pipes in the ceiling, climb gently that won’t let the enemy detect easily. It is quite useful in some cases when the enemy is overcrowded, or the player wants to kill the enemy with just a single kick. Sometimes bad guys use weapons, too, such as flamethrowers or rifles and melee weapons. Approaching is not a good option, try to use Batarang weapons to attack from afar, or distract them with explosive bombs or flashbangs.
Areas in a level are linked by secret passages or types of elevators. Watch for switches that appear on the walls, and activate them with Batarang to move to a new area. Besides, battles will sometimes take place in the streets, and players will be able to drive the car Batmobile while fighting against the enemy.
