This mode revolves around the Son Goku artifact, which makes up the majority of this game. Its story almost rebuilds the entire content of the Dragon Ball Anime series, when Goku was a child. Every important event in his life is perfectly recreated, including the first meeting with Bulma, Master Roshi, King Picolo until defeating the Red Ribbon army to protect the Earth. After that, it was the event to search for dragon balls with his friends: Bulma, Yamcha, Uron and other friends in his childhood. Each of the NPC missions that players meet on the way will lead to the whole story and expose everything. At the early levels, when Goku was young, he did not have much strength and special skills, so he can only fight with weak monsters. As he reaches a higher level, he will unlock new maps, with strong enemies and even bosses, including future friends and some villains.

Basically, the player can use his melee skills to attack opponents. However, for bosses or stronger opponents, if it is not effective then players need to use Ki to increase the fighting strength. Ki is also used to create explosions, or special moves, such as his signature Ki Blast or Kamehameha. In the bottom left corner of the screen there is a Ki meter, while damaging enemies or in a resting state, they will automatically be fully charged. Besides, when players unlock new events and scenarios, some other characters appear like Krillin, Jackie Chun, Mercenary Tao, Gohan or Tien Shinhan. Players can use them to fight in One On One mode that I am about to introduce below. Players can also collect items to upgrade their characters, so they enhance the indicators: attack, defense, speed, and Ki energy. In this mode, players will be immersive and fight like a real RPG game, or for some bosses, the battle will take place on a separate stage, and the mechanism is similar to the game Street Fighter.

One On One Mode: A difference from the storyline, players can choose any character unlocked in “Mode Story” and use them in 1v1 battles. This arena is designed according to the hierarchy, players will take turns to fight the enemies from weak to the strongest. In terms of gameplay mechanics, it’s simple and similar to the ever-popular Street Fighter game ever released. By manipulating and combining combat skills, try to create powerful combos to take down the opponent. However, try to manipulate Ki to create more damage, reduce the morale of the enemy and end his life with a few tricks.

Versus Mode: This is considered a multiplayer mode in which you can connect with your friend and fight together with enemies that appear in One On One mode. This is quite interesting because the two people can work together to take down the powerful boss. However, the difficulty of it is constantly increasing, and only when the two of them work really well, attack the weaknesses of the enemy, they can overcome.

Extra Mode: This mode is expanded and only unlocked when the player completes Story Mode. Every level is unlocked and players can start at any stage. Moreover, by collecting the available items, the system will unlock some extremely attractive Mini Games such as Bosses on Parade, Small Fry Fight, Catch Korin and Rock Crushing. At the same time adding 29 other characters and their own stories.
