Dynasty Warriors Advance

In 189 AD, when Emperor Ling of Han died, the period of the totalitarian monarchy began to wobble and caused discord among the royal mandarins. Yuan Shao and his brother Yuan Shu assassinated other generals to create chaos while paving the way for Dong Zhuo to return to Luoyang to take control. Shortly afterward, Emperor Shao of Han was killed by Dong Zhuo, which was the leading cause of the conflict with the ten armies led by Yuan Shao and the Wu Dynasty of Ton Kien. A year later, the Han Dynasty was defeated, resulting in the establishment of three independent states Wu, Wei, Shu, and the increasingly fierce fighting in Chinese history.

History has shown that Wu was the last country to be destroyed to bring China to unity. However, in this game, you can change history as you wish by leading one of the three armies: Wu, Wei, Shu, and fight with the talented generals. However, Dynasty Warriors Advance is not entirely simulating big battles, but it focuses on exploiting two aspects: strategy and action. You need to choose one of the 13 generals: Guan Yu, Cao Cao, Liu Bei, or Lu Xun. Then, on the screen will appear a miniature map with the purpose of providing information about allies and enemies to destroy.

There are two stages to start a war. Firstly, move on the military map to search for bases. If the enemy is found, then the second stage is action. The general will be pushed into a battlefield full of enemies. You will take control, use weapons and skills to eliminate soldiers in a predetermined period of time. When your mission is clear, but you still get time left or your health indicator isn’t over, of course, you will achieve glory. Of course, there will be bosses to defeat, and it recreates historical battles such as Chang Ban, Hu Lao Gate, Jiang Dong, He Fei, Yi Ling, or Chich Bich.

As for the characters, they possess extraordinary abilities that give them an advantage on the battlefield. Lu Bu is the bravest general, has a really admirable offensive power. Guan Yu makes fatal strikes and exerts influence in a wide range. And Zhang Fei seems to reach full speed in attacks. Moreover, they can also be equipped with one of the 22 weapons that the game provides to improve their abilities.
