With the release of Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire in 2014, the Hoenn Region underwent a comprehensive makeover. This included a storyline that players were already familiar with, but which had been updated, improved, and expanded. In addition, new battle mechanisms, improved gameplay, and a great deal more were added. There was a widespread belief among some individuals that Delta Emerald would be made available simultaneously as Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire; however, this was never the case. We were never provided with the entirety of the Hoenn experience all at once.
Both Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire gave us a more in-depth look at Team Magma and Groudon, but neither of them had the Battle Frontier, a feature exclusive to Emerald. Instead, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire focused on Team Aqua and Kyogre. Everything is just dispersed across several different games, and we do not have a version that includes everything. When I was developing this cheat, I had that in mind as the end goal. I wanted to create a single, comprehensive Hoenn game that included all of the aspects that ORAS had improved.
This update includes new character designs and new dialogues from ORAS, updated movesets and abilities, Gen 4+ evolutions, Megas, and a lot more.
