Spider-Man 2

Since the death of the Green Goblin, Peter has been trying to return to normal life as an ordinary student with his friends Harry Osborn and Mary Jane Wattson. On a trip to the museum together, Peter discovered a criminal organization was stealing products and causing a commotion in the streets when trying to flee. He tried to stop them but was attacked by Rhino, so he was seriously injured. Mysterio, the man who stands behind the robbery, was furious when the plan was disrupted. He stole the Statue of Liberty and forced Spider-Man into a series of magic games to kill him, but losing is what he received again. Sometime later, Octopus, a half-robot warrior, appears. He partnered with Mysterio, Rhino, and Shocker, planning a plot to destroy the world by releasing nuclear power. The Black Cat, who had once confronted Spider-Man, teamed up to stop the oncoming destruction.

Spider-Man 2’s gameplay system is dominated by “Hero Point.” The player must fulfill missions to obtain it as well as to unlock the next parts of the storyline. Manhattan and three islands: Liberty, Ellis, and Rosevelt can all be played. However, they will be opened at some future stage. Spiderman has a number of skills that can be used to fight those street thugs. It consists of simple punches or kicks, and techniques of moving in the air by shooting spider silk and crawling on any terrain. Nevertheless, they are only suitable for fighting ordinary enemies. As for some bosses, players must use environmental factors to win. For example, lurking behind a large iron bar, when the tycoon threw fireballs, or shot silk at bombs floating in the air to cause explosions in a broad range.

The plot is divided into 15 chapters, starting with “What Might Have Been,” with mostly simple tasks like getting a pizza, or learning how to use the skills. After a long time, the training will come to an end with the chapter “To Save the City,” where the most significant battles occur, with the appearance of the final boss – Octopus and a new villain, “Calypso.” If you’ve seen the movie before, you might realize that there are many familiar scenes, including hostage events, extinguishing fires, or survival battles in the warehouse. Despite the difficulties, do not be worried because there is still support from the Black Cat, or you can even be revived at the start point of each level to have a chance to reverse the results.
