Summon Night: Swordcraft Story

Wystern is a city on the planet, Lyndbaum. At every period, there will be seven craftsmen awarded as the title of Craftknights, and only one of them becomes Craftlords. Over these years, there have been extremely excellent Craftknights. They summon the beasts and turn them into materials to make swords. As a result, they have a great source of power to protect the people here from outside threats. It has been three years since the last battle that led to the death of Shintetsu, also known as one of the most talented Craftlords in the past. The remaining leaders decided to organize a tournament to find a replacement for the missing position that once belonged to the heroic sacrifice. Shintetsu’s son decided to join in honor of his father. However, at and the moment the tournament began, it was also the time that the neighboring nation Deigleya brought the thousands of years captive creatures into Wystern with the aim of destroying this place.

Summon Night: Swordcraft grows its storyline throughout ten consecutive days. Each day, players must complete the missions of NPCs, travel to new lands to fight monsters, unlock levels, and end up with a boss battle. The focus of the game also closely follows its content, in which the player will learn techniques of forging weapons to become Craftknight, and further, is to become the Craftlord to replace the deceased father. Every day, Bron would provide the necessary information and formulas for players to create different weapons. Of course, it must be completed in order to be eligible to learn the next technique from him.

After that, all activities can take place freely. Players will be able to adventure everywhere and anytime, fight monsters, interact with other characters, explore dungeons in search of treasures that are the recipes, materials needed with four classes: fire, water, thunder, and wind. The battles are organized in the form of Side – Scrolling. Whenever dangers appear, use fighting skills such as stabbing or slashing to defeat them. Absolutely, there will also be protests, so take advantage of the capabilities of the swords made previously to win. However, its durability will also decline over time. This causes the speed to drop, or even be broken into smaller, irreversible pieces.
