WarioWare: Twisted!

Wario is a man who has always hated people who are smarter and more talented than himself. And Mario was the first one he wanted to overcome. During a competition with his opponent through a Game Boy Advanced match, Wario became angry and threw his device to the ground, causing the failure. Later, he realized he had done something stupid because there was nothing left to entertain. He didn’t want to purchase a new one, so he took it to Dr. Crygor’s lab to get some help. Instead of fixing it, the Doctor put it into a new experiment that’s in the process of testing. The result was a series of similar GBA gaming devices, but they don’t have buttons and require more realistic physical movements. Soon after, Wario recommended it to his friends and founded the company to produce the game.

Basically, “WARIOWARE – TWISTED!” has similar gameplay as its predecessor: “WarioWare, Inc .: Mega Microgames!”. In which, the Microgame categories are clearly divided and managed by specific characters. Although the number is quite enormous, in particular, approximately 200 and proportional to the difficulties that may be encountered, they are not insurmountable at all. Most of the controls revolve around rotating the gyroscope sensor on the device to the left and right. The buttons are mostly no more “crushed” like the previous version.

The Microgames are designed quite simply and briefly. Usually, it only takes about 2 minutes to complete the challenge. However, at such a fast pace, it requires the player to be able to react well and understand the content which is being transmitted. By default, the system provides four lives initially. Each time the players fail or the missions are incompleted within the limited time, one of the four will be deducted. Until there is no more life left, the game ends and updates the achievement if the number of points recorded is ranked at 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. Wario-Man, Wario, Orbulon, 9-Volt, Dr. Crygor, Dribble and Spitz, Kat and Ana, and Jimmy are the characters that will appear in this game. They are considered as server clusters, holding and distributing Microgames of their respective topics: Spandex Challenge, Smorgasbord Sampler, Time Warp, Spintendo Classics, Gravitator, Steer Clear, Tap Out, and Big Tipper. Most of them have their own story, and it will gradually reveal when players experience. Besides, the system also provides additional rewards for winners in the battle versus bosses. It is called a souvenir package, containing items such as musical instruments, minigames, and many other things.
