Aggressive Inline is what you get when you take the extreme sport of inline skating, with its different tricks and styles, and combine them with a system modeled after Tony Hawk’s, complete with objectives and enormous arenas.
As you make your way through the career mode, which requires you to accomplish goals (such as grinding a particular object or object to leap over giant gaps and earn points), additional arenas will become available. There are seven of these arenas, and if you get tired of playing in them, you can create your in-the-park editor. The game does not have a strict time limit but instead uses a “juice meter”; this meter fills up whenever the player completes stunts, and when it is depleted, the level is completed. You can level up your character in seven stats as you progress through the game, such as speed and grinds. The game takes a “learning by doing” approach to this, which means that the associated stat will improve if the associated actions are performed frequently enough in the game. In addition, each level contains five hidden keys that can be used to access new areas within the same level.
You can compete against a friend in a two-player split-screen mode, and the game features ten professional inline skaters, including Shane Yost, Sam Fogarty, Sven Boekhorst, Eito Yasuko, and more.
