You take control of one of four different monkeys, all confined within a clear ball throughout the game. You have to tilt the playing field to make your monkey “roll” forward or backward so that you can complete each level’s objective and move on to the next one. Many challenges stand in the way of your monkey reaching the goal, and because there is a time limit, you can never spend too much time on any one level. Bananas are scattered throughout the levels, and each one you collect adds to your score and gives you an extra life if you get 100 of them.
There are three primary difficulty levels: Beginner, Advanced, and Expert. Each of these levels offers a more significant number of maps to play and a higher level of difficulty. By demonstrating strong performance on these maps, you can unlock access to the EX and Master levels. In the Competition mode, multiple players can simultaneously compete against one another on the same screen at the same level.
You will also be able to unlock a variety of minigames, such as Monkey Billiards and Monkey Bowling, as you progress through the game.
