The World Wrestling Entertainment brand is featured in the video game WWE Day of Reckoning, a wrestling simulation. The gameplay of WWE WrestleMania XIX is incorporated into this game, and while it expands upon those elements, it also introduces brand-new features.
The game features updated character models and graphics for the WWE superstars, including the ability to create customized versions of their faces. The moves used in traditional wrestling, besides the finishers and signature moves used by WWE superstars, are simulated. There are over 40 WWE superstars available for selection. The ability to undo any action and a momentum meter are two new additions to the game’s features. The momentum meter gives the wrestler a chance to return in time. Additionally, it will allow more minor characters to build up their momentum to perform lift moves on more prominent surfaces.
The game includes a story mode in which the player guides a character through smaller shows like Heat and Velocity. The objective is to win a championship and appear on major shows like R.A.W. and Smackdown. This would be considered a success. The bra and pantyhose match is another brand-new game mode.
The player can access various customization options within the Create-a-Wrestler game mode. The player can now use fireworks and other pyrotechnic effects to create entrances. Several W.W.F. legends, including Andre the Giant and Bret Hart, are playable characters in the game.
