Bionic Commando was developed with the context after World War II. The world is controlled by two powerful forces, the Republic and the Empire. However, the Empire had a fascist ideology and was also known under a different name, the Royal Country. After discovering a secret document of the Third Reich in 1980. Generalissimo Killt, the leader of the Empire, decided to implement the crazy plan contained in the document. This document is called the Albatross Plan, and it records how to revive the leadership of the Third Reich – Mr. Badd — facing the risk of the fascist regime invading the world again. The Republicans waged war on the Empire. They then sent a spy into the Empire’s territory to prevent Generalissimo Killt’s plan to revive fascism. This particular agent has the alias Super Joe.
After landing in Empire territory for a while, Super Joe lost contact with the Republican navy. Unable to contact Super Joe and suspect he has been captured by the Empire. The Republic continues to send a new agent on the mission to rescue Super Joe. The second spy sent was called Rad Spencer – Nathan “Rad” Spencer.
Join Bionic Commando. You have two tasks to complete. These two missions include rescuing Super Joe from Imperial imprisonment and destroying Generalissimo Killt to prevent Nazi revival. To complete the challenge of the game, you need to overcome obstacles and destroy the soldiers of the Empire. Rad Spencer is not a normal agent, and he is equipped with a robotic arm. In addition, this robot arm is designed with two weapons, a gun, and a Grappling hook. In particular, the gun is used to destroy enemies, and the Grappling hook helps you overcome the traps and gaps. Instead of jumping over obstacles like other games, you will have to use Grappling hook skillfully to complete the task.
At the final stage of the game, you will approach the secret base of Generalissimo Killt and witness the Albatross plan being successfully implemented. After Mr. Badd was revived, he unexpectedly killed Generalissimo Killt with the purpose of building a new fascist empire of his own. To stop Mr. madness Badd, you will have to destroy Albatross by attacking its reactor. The Albatross reactor is protected with many dangerous traps. Therefore, you need to move smart and calculate reasonably to overcome the pitfalls. From there, you can destroy both Albatross and Mr. Badd to protect the peace for the world.
