Fester’s Quest is an action game released by Sun Electronics in 1989. The game revolves around Fester’s journey to save the world, a city Addams family members before the onslaught of aliens.
Players will play the role of Fester to complete the mission to protect their world. His original weapon was a gun and a whip. At the start of the game, he moves a lot slower than his enemy. Fester will meet the first enemy to attack is a frog parasitic by aliens. He cannot destroy it and must find a way to escape before its pursuit. After successfully fleeing, the player exits the garden and continues his journey on the street.
Fester will encounter many enemies with different weapons. He quickly destroys monsters to collect a special item that boosts his movement speed. Destroying the enemies, in turn, will help him find clues that lead to the alien base and collect support items. Fester will collect many weapons. However, all weapons have the same power and differ only in the scope of the attack. Some special items can help him destroy all enemies on the screen. Fights against aliens from monsters alone are not possible with Fester. He will have to rely on the support of Addams family members Thing, Wednesday, Gomez, Morticia, Grandmama and Pugsley. They will own a special weapon to accompany Fester to destroy the enemy.
Accompanying with the members of the Addams Family, Fester quickly eliminates all the enemies in the city. After going all the way, he discovered a secret passage. To get into this area, he must overcome many obstacles. The terrain here is extremely difficult. He may get lost with his teammates when entering a dark area. Exiting this area will bring Fester and his friends to the last base, the alien base. They will be put into an area of high-rise buildings. In some buildings will contain a giant Alien Boss. They will quickly search and destroy these enemies to collect five pieces. Fester will receive a special weapon when collecting all five pieces. Using this special weapon will help him destroy the last aliens and destroy their entire bases.
