Solar Jetman is a shooting role-playing game released by Nintendo in 1990. With the idea of being set on outer space, the planet Dark is the dominant color of the game, which makes the player feel the most realistic about the outside world of the earth. In the game, the player will play the role of the main character, Jetman, he must control his small plane through the caves of different planets. Once collecting space items, Jetman accidentally found a piece of the Golden Warpship, an item destroyed after a great war at the time. If he finds enough pieces and gathers them into the Golden Warpship, Jetman will become the richest and most powerful person on earth.

The game is a multi-directional shooter shown in a horizontal perspective, similar to the journey of Jetman in the previous section. Players control the Jetman’s plane to move flexibly so as not to touch obstacles in space. The aircraft will be subjected to inertial forces and gravity depending on the level of gravity of the planet has been determined. The magnitude of gravity will vary at every level, making it very difficult for the flight to be controlled as the level increases.

Solar Jetman has twelve similar planets with twelve rounds of play. Each planet will have its own gravity, gravity and cave system full of dangers. The player’s task is to navigate the small jets launched from a mother ship moving in caves on each planet. Then collect the fragments of the Golden Warpship as well as bring back a certain amount of fuel to continue for the next journey. The items are collected by cable pulling, making it difficult for the player to control the aircraft due to the force exerted on it. The reward points of the game will be earned by taking valuables and destroying enemies in space, and the points can be used after each round to buy power for the Jetman aircraft. If the small jet was destroyed, Jetman could escape but it would be difficult to return to the mother ship because he now became very weak. If the player can return to the mothership, there will be a new jet. If the player’s character dies in outer space, it will lose a life, in the game the character will only be a maximum of three lives.
