Yo! Noid is an adventure game released by Capcom in 1990. The game is set in New York City being ravaged by monstrous creatures. These creatures have escaped from a research lab and are constantly causing problems in the city. Before the threat of monsters, Noid – the mayor of the city has the task of destroying and chasing all these creatures to bring peace to the city and receive great rewards. However, things did not go according to his expectations.

In the game, the player controls Hanamaru, a destructive creature to wreak havoc on the city. Hanamaru has the ability to move on two feet and has a small ball in his hand. This ball is considered to be its only weapon during the journey. When met by guards or guards in the city, Hanamaru will throw the ball at the opponent. The enemy will be defeated quickly after being hit by bullets. It will meet a stream of other enemies when traveling over a river terrain. Hanamaru will jump onto the pillars straight on the river to move to the other shore. Fish and birds are the enemies it encounters while traveling in the river. Hanamaru will collect a number of items while moving to make his jump higher, avoiding the onslaught of enemies. Fish that attack from below the water are very unexpected and require quick reflexes from the player. If attacked by birds or fish, Hanamaru will fall into the river and will continue at the beginning of the stage.

A glacier with moving ice is a great challenge for Hanamaru. It has to move on icebergs and cannot stand for too long on it. The ice will crumble and unsafe Hanamaru. The continuous movement will help it cross the frozen river easily. When crossing the glacier, Hanamaru will face attacks from a bear and its guardians. A large bear will not die after an attack from Hanamaru. It has to move flexibly to avoid the chase from that bear.

In the final stages of the game, Hanamaru will move on a skateboard in the city. During this period, a plane repeatedly dropped bombs to destroy it. Its mission is to run fast to dodge all those bombs. The game ends when Hanamaru completes his journey around the city.
