The action video game Bionicle Heroes is played from a third-person perspective, and the player assumes the character of one of the Toa Inika from the Lego Bionicle franchise, such as Jaller, Matoro, Hahli, Kongu, or Nuparu. These heroes equip themselves with Toa Masks of Power, power-ups hidden throughout the stages, and provide access to various elementally-based powers. In addition, there are Bionicle canisters that the characters can use to defeat Vezon, the seventh Piraka responsible for stealing the Mask of Life.
The extraterrestrial “robots” Vahki, Visorak, and Bohrok are the primary targets of the player’s attacks for the entirety of the game. Players will be rewarded with Lego pieces for each foe they conquer, and doing so will eventually allow them to activate an unbeatable Hero Mode that will assist them in taking down the Toa’s enemies.
