These versions are a direct continuation of the Tiger Woods PGA Tour 06 framework, in contrast to those available on the PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms. The most significant improvement is including a new game mode called Team Tour. In this mode, players build four golfers and send them on a journey worldwide to complete various challenges and ultimately compete against Team Tiger.
The Wii version is virtually identical to the other versions, except that it utilizes motion controls for input and adds six more arcade game types. In exchange for this, fewer traditional game types are available (6 as opposed to 10), and fewer courses are accessible (18 as opposed to 21). Only 12 different methods are available in the Windows edition.
