Aeon Flux is a third-person action game based on the film of the same name that was released in 2005. The novel’s events occur in the year 400 AD, four centuries after industrial illness eradicates the vast mass of humanity from the planet. There is only one city left, and that is Bregna. The Monicans are a group of rebels who are opposed to the rule of the scientists who developed the vaccine that can prevent the disease. The scientists run the city, but the Monicans challenge them.

You take control of Aeon Flux, the story’s primary protagonist. Aeon is a skilled fighter capable of performing various mild and heavy strikes, combo attacks, and acrobatic assaults. You also can perform a takedown attack on an opponent with a relatively low amount of remaining health; if this assault is successful, you will be rewarded with a bonus of some kind, such as additional health. Aeon features two meters: a health meter and a style meter. The game is over when the health meter is completely exhausted. You can charge up your combo strikes to deal additional damage when you have earned sufficient style. The style meter can be filled by fighting or killing foes. In addition, Aeon is armed with a weapon known as the FUG (Flux Universal Gun) and various other technologies. You will need ammunition to operate the gun, and you can find it in several different places across each level. To go through some regions of the game and solve certain puzzles, it will be necessary for you to make use of the many gadgets and gizmos that are at your disposal. For example, intel capsules will give you access to vital information, little spheres can be maneuvered to turn off alarms and open doors, and Aeon can hide in rollers to move across places without being seen.
