The danger posed by the Onyx Tower has been removed for the time being, but it will only be a matter of seconds until another threat emerges along the Sword Coast. Because the heroes of the Onyx Tower have vanished, the fate of Baldur’s Gate now lies on the shoulders of five traveling adventurers who are just now making their way into the region.
Each player in Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance II has access to five unique playable characters, and the game can be played solo or in tandem with a single person. The gameplay is the same as in the previous version of the game; the objective is to eliminate enemies to obtain treasure, goods, and experience. The player can learn about alternate maps in Baldur’s Gate that contain more dangerous enemies and other prizes by speaking with the individuals who live in the town. This time, the player equipment can give it different magical effects, like increasing tr fire damage, absorbing mana, or increasing their stats.
