The events in this chapter of the Conflict series take place in many different parts of the world. In Conflict: Global Terror, the primary objective of Red Team is to eliminate terrorist organizations operating on a global scale.

The game occurs in various non-military settings, such as hotels, gas plants, and cocaine production facilities, rather than engaging in high-octane tank battles in the desert or tense ambush combat in the forest.

The fight is frequently up close and very personal, even in most levels mixing zone zones. This results in a wide variety of combat situations at many different ranges. The missions also differ quite a deal from one another. Others can be played much slower if the player prefers, while others are furious and fast-paced, with the squad battling for their lives. The level design contributes significantly to the gameplay of counter-terrorism. Red Team frequently uses C4 to break holes in walls and smoke grenades to flush out the bad guys when they are engaged in bursting sieges.

Thermal goggles allow the player to see through smoke, and Bradley’s laser designator can identify vital targets for gunship air strikes. Both of these items are valuable and frequently found to be helpful. Claymore mines allow the team to conceal their ambush positions and cover their rear.

The gameplay is highly adaptable, allowing for a wide variety of approaches to be taken by players. Players can play as a super-stealthy special forces team or run and gunning for their lives. They can play as a single character in charge of the group or switch between characters at will. Changing characters and providing orders to the rest of the group is easy and quick. Members can be given separate orders in advance, such as “On my signal, Connors runs to the window, Bradley opens the door, and Jones throws a grenade through the window.” Ready… Aim! “), which enables the player to engage in this level of meticulous planning if they choose to play the game in this manner. The cooperative mode allows numerous players to direct Red Team.

There are four different difficulty modes and a skill learning curve for players of all experience levels. There are over 30 other weapons, each with its statistics and playstyle. Every one of these options comes with a unique set of benefits and drawbacks. For this reason, pistols are frequently a superior option to light machine guns in various situations.

The plot progresses not only through the missions themselves but also through the cutscenes that are interspersed throughout them. The group comprises four unique people, each with their own background, current life, and distinct personality.
