What role will you play in the conflict to save Zion? Enter The Matrix portrays the player as Niobe or Ghost, captain and first mate of the rebel ship Logos. Niobe is an expert fighter, capable of defeating anyone in her path. She is an outstanding pilot in both the physical world and the Matrix. Ghost is highly proficient with firearms, and his marksmanship is exceptional. Throughout the game, the player must walk, run, leap, strafe, peek, run on walls, scale ladders and pipes, and engage in combat with various enemies.
Security pistols, automatic pistols, submachine guns, machine guns, shotguns, and grenades are available. In addition to weapons, many hand-to-hand techniques are available, including strikes, throws, grabs, kicks, and chokes. Throughout the game, the player will be required to utilize Focus maneuvers, which are essentially film-style bullet time.
