This entry in the BMX racing series features Mat “The Condor” Hoffman and nine other world-class Pro BMX riders. Many gameplay elements remain unchanged.
Actual video footage of Mat and the team was taken from their recent road trip and incorporated into the game using DVD technology to give you the experience of being there with them. Another significant element is flatland tricks, which can modify practically every stunt.
Session – Take additional time to practice your tricks and routines in 2, 5, or 10-minute sessions on unlocked levels. Scores can be kept and added to the Hall of Fame.
Free Ride – Similar to Session, you can utilize this option to practice your abilities for an endless amount of time. No scores can be saved since every score you obtain for a trick is replaced by the points of the following scheme.
Road Trip – This is where you go on a road trip with the lads to compete across the country. Each level has objectives to achieve to better your skills, unlock new levels, unlock motorcycles, and discover game secrets.
Trick Attack – Compete against each other in a split-screen competition to obtain the highest score in the shortest amount of time.
Ride around showing off your skills to your opponent.
Graffiti War – Ride throughout the level and collect the Spray Cans. Perform a terrain trick once you’ve located them. Your opponent’s screen will be “painted” if a stunt is performed. To clean the paint, the opponent can achieve a higher-scoring trick.
Tag – The “it” guy is the only one who can score points. It would be best if you were the first to find the red ring to be it. Score as many points as you can while you’re at it. To be it, the one who is not it must track down the other and knock them down. If the person who is it leaves, the other person will take its place.
H.O.R.S.E. – Similar to the old basketball game HORSE. In this instance, you must outperform them to receive the letter. The person with the lowest score will be assigned a letter, and the guy who spells HORSE first is the loser.
Treasure Hunt – Compete against your friends to find the Golden Condor, and the Condor is the only way to get points.
Half Pipe Hell – HotSeat style play for up to 8 players. It would be best if you cheated your way up a mountain of terraced half-pipes in turns, and the only way to score is to move pipe to pipe until you reach the top.
Push – Similar to Trick Attack, but your opponent’s screen shrinks as you score more points. The loser is the one who is pushed entirely off the screen.
Mat Hoffman, Joe Kowalski, Rick Thorne, Mike Escamilla, Simon Tabron, Kevin Robinson, Cory Nastazio, Ruben Alcantara, Seth Kimbrough, and Nate Wessel are among the pros in the game.
