Using a new virus that they have developed, a group going by the name “Amadeus” intends to take control of all of the computers used by militaries around the world. Your objective is to wipe them off before they can realize their nefarious goals. The fifth installment (including Metal Slug X) of the most famous arcade shooting series comes with the gameplay from previous installments unchanged, a new arm called the Dual Machine Gun, six new vehicles called the Motorcycle, Truck, Bradley Tank, Metal Crow Tank, Four Legged Walkmachine and Forklift Truck, and two new soldiers named Nadia Cassel and Trevor Spacey. The Metalish System is the most noticeable addition to this installment in the series. It gives the player a unique opportunity to amass more points by providing a timer at the top of the screen when the player collects particular emblems in the shape of shields. During this period, you are required to shoot as many enemies as you can quickly, and the quality of your performance will determine whether or not you obtain a corresponding badge bonus that will be added to your score once you have completed the task. However, you would not receive compensation if you were to pass away while completing the quest.
