After surviving several complex journeys, the Prince eventually returns to Babylon, taking his new spouse, Kaileena, the Empress of Time, along with him. However, when they arrive in Persia, they discover that the land has been devastated by war, which ends any hopes they may have had for a peaceful and happy future together. After quickly capturing and killing Kaileena, the nefarious Vizier releases the Sands of Time, which provide him with terrible new abilities. Kaileena’s death also triggers the release of the Sands of Time.

The Prince of Persia will have to stand and battle once more, but this time he will be more potent than ever because of his new alter ego, the Dark Prince, created due to the Prince’s interaction with the Sands. As he fights to reclaim his kingdom from the hands of a madman, he must also battle with his inner demons because the Dark Prince threatens to consume him entirely. All the while, he is engaged in this conflict; he is also trying to reclaim his kingdom from the hands of the madman.

The game is quite similar to the other two parts of UbiSoft’s Prince of Persia trilogy, The Sands of Time and Warrior Within, in terms of the included fight and puzzle segments. There are some significant new elements, such as the character of the Dark Prince, who occasionally takes control of the main protagonist and teaches him new combos and maneuvers to improve his fighting style. A new skill called “Speed Kill” has also been included, and it is pretty helpful against all the game’s enemies. With this power, victims are ambushed from behind and then slain horrifically and covertly.

In Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones, the player will explore not only the streets of Babylon but also a temple, the famous Hanging Gardens, and a crumbling palace that belonged to the player’s father.
