This game combines the first and second installments of the Super Monkey Ball series for the Xbox and PlayStation 2. This collection makes every level from those two games accessible to the player, plus every one of the collection’s accompanying minigames is already unlocked and included. After about three and a half years, the Super Monkey Ball series is finally available for gamers on the PlayStation 2 and Xbox. Previously, this series was only accessible to GameCube owners.
The gameplay is strikingly similar to the classic arcade game Marble Madness. You take control of a monkey encased in a ball, and your mission is to guide it safely to the end of a challenging maze. In the previous two games, you had a finite number of lives or attempts; however, in this game, you had an infinite number of lives, which makes it much more straightforward.
