Syphon Filter – The Omega Strain

“Syphon Filter – The Omega Strain” is a third-person shooter game and the fourth installment in the “Syphon Filter” series developed by SCE Bend Studio, which was first released on May 4, 2004. The storyline revolves around the two main characters, Siphon Filter and Gabe, on their journey to save humanity from the spread of the virus and also to fight an insane terrorist corporation, the cause of everything. Instead of letting you play the character of Gabe like the previous sections. In “The Omega Strain”, you are allowed to create yourself a character of your preference, gender preference, and appearance for your character. The gameplay of the game is also non-linear; the tasks will now be up to you to decide whether to perform them or not. Along with the added RPG elements, you also gain experience points that help you level up and unlock new powerful weapons. Your enemies will appear continuously and cannot kill them all. Graphics in the game are quite beautiful, the movements of the characters are incredibly smooth, and the explosion effects are also very realistic. The number of weapons in the game is up to 100. Besides, the game also allows cooperation with other players up to four people.
