Joe is just your typical everyday kind of man that enjoys hanging around with his girlfriend, Silvia, and watching movies. However, Joe’s world is flipped entirely upside down when Silvia is taken into a movie reel by an evil entity. It is up to you to take Joe Everyman and transform him into a superhero so that he may rescue his girlfriend and put an end to all superheroes.
Viewtiful Joe is a 2D side-scrolling action game in a 3D universe. The game features a heavy dose of comic book aesthetics, and it will require you to use the incredible skills of the hero in question as you use VFX special moves like Slow and Mach Speed to slice and dice the many foes that appear on the screen. You will be able to acquire “Viewtifuls,” which will enhance your capabilities by adding new killer moves and unique goods to your inventory. You’ll need them as you go through all seven episodes and the major bosses that await you after each one.
