Fast & Furious: Showdown

With the success of the blockbuster “Fast & Furious 6”, the popular gaming firm Activision decided to develop “Fast & Furious: Showdown”, the “follow-up” action racing game developed by Firebrand Games. Right from the first time, it was launched, the game has given players the experience of the dramatic and exciting racing games that we have witnessed on the screen. In particular, the game also has the presence of familiar characters in the series “The Fast and Furious”, except for the notable absence of the famous character in the film, Dominic Toretto. The gameplay in “Fast & Furious: Showdown” focuses on cooperative driving and chases and fights on vehicles. The game offers players various types of missions centered around driving around in semi-destructible rounds. These tasks can range from regular car racing to surviving certain cycles. Also in some missions, the player character may need to steal another vehicle by jumping from the front of their vehicle to another. All cars have HP bars and some nitro features. The plot of “Fast & Furious: Showdown” begins with the cut scene of the character Monica Fuentes finding Riley Hicks digging everywhere through files in her office. Riley introduces herself and says she will meet Luke Hobbs in 24 hours, and needs to know everything Hobbs has done. The following missions were events told by Monica to explain what Hobbs had solved. Through this, we see various events from the movie, such as the safe dragging scene from “Fast Five”, or the hijacking scene from “Fast & Furious”.
