Genji: Days of The Blade

“Genji: Days of The Blade” is a very exciting action game genre developed by Game Republic and Sony Computer Entertainment released in 2006 exclusively for the PlayStation 3. A continuation version of the game in “Genji: Dawn of the Samurai”, “Genji: Days of The Blade” has impressed the player with many outstanding features compared to the previous version. The game received a lot of compliments from the game critics with a beautiful graphic design, eye-catching gameplay with attractive combo moves similar to the “Onimusha” series of games. The special feature that makes “Genji: Days of The Blade” come alive and create its own attraction is the ability of Yoshitsune to play the hero. In the game, the player will be able to play four characters including Minamoto no Yoshitsune, a samurai and the protagonist of the previous version. Musashibō Benkei a giant monk with the power of a warrior who is very loyal to the Minamoto family. Shizuka Gozen, a priestess and Lord Buson, a spear warrior, who resembles one of Yoshitsune’s former enemies. The game takes place three years after the end of “Genji: Dawn of the Samurai”, the Heishi clan, who was defeated at the end of “Dawn of the Samurai”, returned. Their military power reinforced by using evocative magic that allows its legions to turn into demons. Yoshitsune and his great friend Benkei had to fight the Heishi army to recover. This time they had the help of two powerful allies who supported their battle, Shizuka Gozen and Lord Buson.
