NIER

“NIER” is an action role-playing game developed by Cavia and released by Square Enix for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Launched to the world on April 22, 2010, “NIER” has caught the attention of many players around the world and made a strong impression on critics through how to build compelling and meaningful stories, character shapes and soundtracks mixed with the gameplay has created the brand for Square Enix itself. The game is a spin-off of the “Drakengard” game series and is the sequel to the fifth ending of the first game, the events of which have left the planet Earth in a state of decay. “NIER” is set over 1,000 years later, and players will play the main character, Nier, who is trying to find a cure for a disease known as the Black Scrawl, that his daughter Yonah suffered. During the journey, Nier collaborated with a talking book called Grimoire Weiss. He is also accompanied by two other characters, Kainé and Emil, as he tries to find a cure and learn the nature of the dark creatures known as Shades stalking the world. Thereby he has the duty to prevent the invasion of the Shades and continue searching for a cure to Yonah’s disease.
