Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing

“Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing” is a kart racing video game developed by Sumo Digital based on the Sega Superstars series. The game was released for console game consoles in 2010. Similar to other games in the kart racing genre, players will choose one of 20 characters from the Sega brand to participate in the race such as Sonic the Hedgehog, Crazy Taxi and Fantasy Zone. Players will join the race in different stages to collect items to speed up and hinder their opponents. If the player collects one of the three weapons that hinder the opponent, they can activate all of those weapons at once while participating in the game. Racing cars are divided into 3 different categories in games such as cars, bikes, and gliders. Because the terrain of the racetrack is constantly changing in the game, they must use the means to support the terrain that the player participates in. The Sega Miles included in the game that players collect can be used in the store to unlock new characters. Upon release, “Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing” has made huge sales with more than 17 million copies sold worldwide.
