The Simpsons Game

For those who are familiar with the hit animated series “The Simpsons”, it will not be too strange with the movie content revolves around the life of the Simpsons family with five members including husband Homer Simpson, wife Marge Simpson, daughter Lisa, son Bart and youngest sister Maggie. With the popularity of this series, game studio Electronic Arts decided to launch a game based on the series called “The Simpsons Game”. The game was first released in November 2007 on various platforms including Nintendo DS, PlayStation 2, Wii, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable. The game has shown its appeal to game critics and made a strong impression on players around the world through graphic images with diverse and unique gameplay with different levels. Each player level will be able to play one of the five members of the Simpsons family with each member having different abilities. In the game’s storyline, the Simpsons discovered that they were forced to participate in another game of “The Simpson”. They realize that they have become a part of the game and that each person will be given a special power to help him overcome the challenges in the game. Thereby they will travel to four scenarios in parodies of other games to collect key cards used to infiltrate their creator’s mansion. Ultimately, its main purpose to save their predecessors from destruction.
