In Akihabara, the shopping area is invaded by creatures called “Synthisters” who hunt people for food. Your mission is protecting Akihabara to take energy and survive. “Synthisters” enemies will be defeated when exposed to the sun, so the only way to win is to “strip off” them before the light. Akihiro Tanaka is a genuine otaku. He liked anime and manga so much that he devoted all his time to Akihabara. This time as usual, when he came here, he saw strange creatures hovering around the centre. By chance, he reluctantly joined a few others to become Kageyashi killers, returning peace to this neighbourhood.
Akiba’s Trip is the first version of the Akiba series. With a plot based on the anime of the same name, play as the young Otaku exterminating vampire-like creatures to regain peace for the city. The game is divided into three branches and the next route will be the result of the player and the previously selected options. Each route consists of different platforms. To unlock all the facts of the game, players will need to play through each story, paying attention to details that can correlate with information from a corresponding route. This is also present outside of the so-called “Sister Route”, but this only affects the end of the game. There are three routes and the task stages are divided into seven blocks. The game has two categories, one is “Main Quest” and the other is “Subtask”. Any other in-game event can sometimes occur during major missions, as indicated on the destination. Players can freely explore Akihabara before the next main mission. Be careful because Kageyashi has the ability to undress others like a citizen. The more people present, the harder it is to fight (unfavourable to both sides).
