The story revolves around the future Trunks character living in the future, where Babidi appears and will replace. It quickly formed a major battle involving time travel and battles in different worlds. He and Goku, Goten, Gohan along with other teammates fight to stop bad guys. And then the plan to revive the future of Kid Buu was unsuccessful. Later, Kid Buu’s future began to create countless copies of super Buu and pushed the chaos to a climax, forcing everyone to gather their strength to create the ultimate power, wiping out enemies and Kid Buu. Therefore, the battle for the future ended. Trunk and his allies spent the last wish of Dragon Ball to recover the damage caused by the battle, bring peace back to Earth and crush the villain’s ambition to rule the worlds.

Although it is the next version of Dragon Ball Z – Shin Budokai, inheriting the core of the previous version with similar gameplay, this version will not make people disappointed. So what makes this version different from the original Shin Budokai? Mostly new story mode consists of 7 game modes (including a story circle around the world of Trunk and his adventures). Many main characters and villains that you can choose. High-speed battles with the most powerful aircraft in the universe make battles more fierce. For the most part, you have the option of adding two other heroes, although this will distract your attention when you have to keep an eye on many things, this feature also offers many interesting benefits and challenges. Like other games, you can increase your power by using the cards purchased from the store or get rewards from wins. These cards can increase specific attributes such as health, attack, energy, ki … etc … especially there are other cards depending on where the player put them will buff strength for that adjacent card.

According to some reviewers of Shin Budokai’s ardent fans, improvements to the new story and the card-based power-up system are interesting but not enough. However, for newbies this is still a simple fighting game, stimulating worth to experience.
