Race Driver 2 is the fourth game in a well-known series of racing games. It comes after TOCA 1, TOCA 2, and TOCA Race Driver (also known as Pro Race Driver, V8 Race Driver, and DTM Race Driver). Another part of Codemasters Race Driver 2: The Ultimate Racing Simulator came out on Xbox and PC. Both versions can have duels over the Internet (with up to 12 players simultaneously) and a career mode for a single player. Like the last part of the game, the one-person method had an exciting storyline.
Race Driver 2 is an ambitious project for a car racing game. We can race in 30 global championships (like “The World Cup,” “The World Cup,” “The World Cup,” and “The World Cup”), such as GT Sports Car Racing, Street Racing, Rally, DTM, V8 Supercars, Global GT Lights, Rally Cross, Formula Ford, Open Wheel Grand Prix, and Classic Car Racing, on 56 routes. In the game, we can choose from 35 licensed cars from the best brands in the world, such as Aston Martin (V12 Vanquish, DB7, and DB5), Jaguar (XJ220, XKR, and E-Type), Ford (Mustang Cobra R, Ford GT, GT90, F150 Lightning Pick-up, Falcon BA), Holden Commodore VY, Mitsubishi 3000 GT, Mitsubishi EVO 7, Subaru Impreza WRX, ABT-Audi.
The game looks excellent in terms of its graphics. All the cars we see in the game have been carefully remade, as have the routes, tracks, and the whole environment. The drivers themselves are made up of as many as 12,000 polygons. Vehicles have a unique way of breaking down that simulates crashes very realistically. Of course, any damage to the car’s body or chassis can be seen immediately (dents, detached elements, telescopic wheels, etc.). The computer opponents’ ” intelligence ” has also improved since TOCA Race Driver.
