Warhammer 40,000 – Squad Command is a turn-based strategy game, developed and published by RedLynx in 2007 on both the PlayStation and Nintendo DS. Set in the 40,000 Warhammer universe, participating in the game, you will control your steel army to repel the attack of the marines Word Bearers Legion of Chaos on the planet Ruhr III. Before each match, you will be allowed to choose yourself six robots, each equipped with two different weapons. One is a standard weapon with unlimited use, and the second will be a unique weapon, the number of times used depends on the number of bullets selected before the match. Each robot has two indicators: Hp (hit point) and AP (action point), when the hp reaches 0, that unit will be removed from the table. The amount of AP will decrease when robots move or use special weapons, APs to 0 means robots can not move anymore and only use conventional weapons. Please use the appropriate alternation between the two threats to destroy the enemy base, ensuring victory. If a robot finishes the turn with a sufficient amount of AP, it will be put into the “Overwatch” mode in the next turn of the enemy. With Overwatch, the first enemy unit that comes into view of the Robots will be attacked immediately. 3D graphics are a big plus with Warhammer 40,000 – Squad Command, soak up the battles and win.
