The new video game is scheduled to be released in November 2006 on PlayStation 2, PSP, and PC-CD ROM.

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire is a popular game show. The hit television series’ ambiance and intensity will be recreated in Party Edition, but the game will also include intriguing new party game aspects. The entire family will be able to compete against one another for the first time for the honor of playing for the chance to win a million pounds of virtual currency.

The host, Chris Tarrant, is in charge of everything, and the objective of the game, which you presumably well know, is to win a million pounds of virtual currency. But, due to the inclusion of multiplayer party modes, it will take not just intelligence but also nerves of steel to win the grand prize. We regret to inform you that the game does not come with one million pounds; thus, we have decided to convert any cash wins you have into points instead.

GAME MODES

INDIVIDUAL PLAYER

Classic Millionaire

This is about as near as you can get to watching the TV program without actually being in the studio. There is one participant, fifteen questions in sequential order, and a prize pool worth around one million pounds.

Fast Fire

A speedier and more forgiving variation on the classic game of “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” in which players compete against the clock to answer trivia questions. Still, they also can try again if they get an answer wrong.

MULTIPLAYER

Millionaire Party

A fast-paced gameplay option caters to those at their most competitive. Participants ‘buzz in’ to answer questions; however, even if you aren’t the fastest on the buzzer, you can always try Stealing the chance to respond or even Double-Daring your competitor if you suspect they don’t know the answer. Players answer questions by pressing a button labeled “buzz in.” In addition, if you get a question wrong, you get three opportunities to try again.

To Play or to Pass?

A more strategic gameplay mode that not only enables players to select the difficulty level of the questions they wish to answer but also enables them to pass on difficult questions to other players in the hope that they will answer them incorrectly instead of themselves.

Millionaire Remix

When you compete against your opponents in a succession of rounds, you will need to stay on your toes to collect enough Chances and Lifelines – or prevent your opponents from doing so – that will enable you to win the one million pound prize first.

Multi-Millionaire

The original Who Wants to Be a Millionaire game. They were modified for several participants. The contestants take turns to try to win the one million pound jackpot, but the only thing standing between them and elimination is the lifeline they have been given.

Quick-Fire

A high-speed game mode in which the objective is to provide quick answers to the questions being asked.
