Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage! is a special version of the Spyro dragon released in 1999 for the PlayStation. Spyro and Sparx decided their vacation in Dragon Shores, a beautiful and peaceful land. The magicians of this kingdom, Elora the Faun and Hunter the Cheetah, summoned Spyro and Sparx to help them fight Ripto. Ripto is a ferocious Warlock, who was summoned by his professor to the kingdom of Avalar. In this kingdom, dragons do not exist and he can use his power to steal everything. Ripto and his two subordinates, Gulp and Crush, have set out to destroy the kingdom and steal everything. In order to rescue Avalar from danger, the wizards tried to summon dragons from another kingdom.
