Everything starts with a simple contract Rios and Salem were given when they first arrived in Shanghai. The city is then suddenly assaulted by a mysterious force known as the “40th Day Initiative.” This is the narrative of Rios and Salem fleeing Shanghai as quickly as possible while trying to figure out who the attackers are. On their way out, they may have the option to save hostages designated for elimination by the Initiative. But, in the end, it’s all about getting out alive while the city crumbles around you.
Army Of Two: The 40th Day is a fast-paced third-person shooter focusing on organic co-op, many strategic options, and relentless destruction.
The game includes new co-op movements that may be used to plan and execute new plans for flanking and surprising the enemy. The weapon customization interface has also returned, with extra weapon parts, paint jobs, and add-ons to enable more tactical options on the battlefield.
There are no Rules of Engagement for mercenaries, but they have ideals. Several cooperative decisions will be required during the game. It will be up to the players to determine if they wish to save innocent people on their way out of Shanghai or are merely interested in making money…
A revised Multiplayer mode is also available, allowing up to 10 people to fight simultaneously. There are four game types: Partner Deathmatch, Warzone, Control, and Extraction.
