Los Muertos is the most powerful of the three gangs, but the Volk and the Shai-Gen Corporation are not far behind. However, the circumstance is highly precarious, and precarious times call for dangerous actions. The Agency is developing technology from one of Shai-Gen’s scientists to produce superhuman Agents to combat crime and regain control of the city. Thanks to talents constantly improving and getting better as you use them, you have the upper hand, but those gangs don’t give up Pacific City without a fight!
Crackdown is an action game developed by the same person responsible for creating Grand Theft Auto. The game takes place in the fully explorable city of Pacific City. Your primary objective is to eliminate the gangs that have established control over different city regions. However, taking out the lower rungs in the gang ladder would be advantageous before you head for the top. Although it is pretty acceptable for you to go straight for the head honcho of each gang, you are not required to do so. By doing so, numerous aspects of the team, such as its vehicles, cash flow, and ability to recruit new members, will be crippled.
Specific skills can be upgraded by your Agent, including the following: Driving, in which you demonstrate your command over a variety of vehicles, and agility, in which you demonstrate your ability to sprint and jump high. Explosives, including your knowledge of them and the damage radius they have; Your physical strength, which enables you to punch, as well as lift and hurl heavy objects; and Weapons, which refers to your skill and accuracy with a variety of different sorts of weaponry. The acquisition of more of a certain kind of ability can be accomplished by carrying out the related activity. You can raise your strength by punching individuals in the face or throwing rubbish skips at them, and you can enhance your weapon skills by continuing to shoot during the game.
