Madden NFL 11, released in 2010, is the latest entry in the Madden NFL franchise, the only game the NFL officially licenses. The video game was distributed on all the central console platforms available when it was launched, just like all the most current and earlier entries in the series.
GameFlow is a new concept featured in the game’s Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions. This system allows the player to rapidly select a play advised by the game’s artificial intelligence (AI), rather than going through the whole playbook, to deliver a quick gameplay experience. There is also a new mode called “Online Team Play” that was added to the game. This mode allows a maximum of six players to participate in a single game, with each team having three members. Regarding online games, Madden has never before supported more than two players at a time. The game will also be commented on by a new team of analysts, who will feature the skills of Chris Collinsworth and Gus Johnson, amongst others.
