Sonic’s Ultimate Genesis Collection is a collection of games for the SEGA Genesis, Master System, and SEGA Arcade. The complete collection has been optimized for 720p HD resolution (up scaleable to 1080p) and includes an optional graphics filter for softening rough edges. SEGA has also incorporated Achievements (360) and Trophies (PS3).

Each Genesis game also has accessible box and cartridge artwork. The collection also includes the unlockable developer interviews in the SEGA Genesis Collection, initially released on the PS2 and PSP.
